Amy Butler Love collection arrived in Canada!

The much awaited Amy Butler's Love collection arrived this week in Canada! You'll find the entire collection in my shop, available as yardage, fat quarters bundles and kits.

The collection is divided in "Heart" and "Soul" colorways, I've put together a fat quarters set for each and one for the whole collection. That's 26 fabrics to play with!

Amy Butler has also released new free patterns, among which this Sexy Hexy "Love" Quilt. I'm pretty excited to offer the fabric kit in the shop, this is the first quilt kit at Flair for Fabric!

Amy Butler describes the collection in these words : "I've gone over-the-top with prints and color to make a luscious and yet "bite-sized" collection of 26 quilting/fashion weight fabrics and 12 home dec weight fabrics. A marriage by design coming from a love affair of rich, soulful, organic florals and architectural prints passionately inspired by my recent trips to Indonesia and England. I just received a collection of fat quarters by independent fabric designers Repeat Studio. They're screenprinted by hand on organic/eco-friendly fabric and the designs are pretty and modern.

You'll find the largest online selection of Daisy Chain and Midwest Modern in Canada, as well as her entire sewing patterns line.  I won't be restocking on some of these fabrics as I'm making place for entire Love collection, coming in the shop in late October/early November.  So it's definitely time to stock up on those! :)  The sale goes through Sunday, October 18th.

New in the shop : Favorite Things Sewing Patterns

New in the shop this week is a selection of Favorite Things Sewing Patterns.  These patterns are designed and made in Canada and Leslie Gladman, one of the designers behind the brand, is the nicest person. You'll find two stylish garments patterns for Fall : a flattering fitted coat with faux double breast and empire waist and a versatile classic shirt with mutiple options.

 

You'll also find practical lunch bag and billfold patterns.  One thing I love about Favorite Things patterns is that there often are fat quarters options; the Lunch Bag, for instance, can be made out of 4 fat quarters. How fun is this?

Moms Rock the Economy Twitter Party

Moms Rock The Economy is a great new website where moms and moms business owners make a pledge to buy mom owned and support mom owned economy.  What a great idea!
