Fabric in use by ZigZagStitches - Project Bags & Organizers in Erin McMorris Wildwood

Which crafter or knitter can resist the occasion to organize their supplies and tools in a beautiful way?  I think it's one of the joys of crafting and it's even more satisfying when you can find organizers handmade by a fellow crafter.  Catherine of ZigZagStitches offers project bags and organizers in a wide selection of fabrics, all available in her Etsy shop. 

She's made these project bags with Erin McMorris new Wildwood collection fabrics.  The first features Sophie's Garden in Orange, lined with Forest in Lime.  The second one features Lotus & Leaves in Gold.

Lotus & Leaves in Gold is also just perfect for this Knitting Needle Organizer.  Her design exploits the vertical lines in the fabric in a very harmonious manner.

She's also made the 2 following project bags using the same fabric style, Amy Butler's Sweet Jasmine from Daisy Chain collection, in 2 different colors.  It shows well how even only a different fabric color can change the look of an item.

Fabrics needing "fabric in use" exposure - promote your handmade work

If you've visited my store, you know how much I love to show the fabric in use.  I think that's the way most of us would shop for fabric : it's the most natural way to gauge the pattern scale and to judge of fabrics matching, both in terms of colors and scale.  

That's where I'd like craft and handmade indiepreneurs to step in!  There's so much great work and creation out there.  I'd like to feature your handmade products in my fabric listings.  That's an amazing win-win opportunity : you are promoting your items for free and I get to show more fabric in use.  Your shop's name, short item description and link to the item in your shop will accompany the picture.  What do you think?
